Dale Roland Bentley, Executive Director - (Ret.) Chairman of the North Dakota State Historic Preservation Review Board, past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Buffalo Historical Society, Inc.; winner of the "Excellence in Local History Award" from the American Association of State and Local History, "1999 National Trust Honor Award", (Ret.) Vice President of the Buffalo Economic Improvement Corporation, (Ret.) Chair of the City of Buffalo Historic Preservation Commission, (Ret.)

Co-Curator of the Prairie Churches of North Dakota exhibit and numerous other local exhibits, author of numerous National Register nominations. Photographer whose photos have appeared in a number of national, state and local publications. President of the Historic Alderman School Association, Board Member of the VCSU President's House Preservation Society, appointed to the VCSU Presidential Task Force for the restoration of historic Vangstad Auditorium at Valley City State University. Advisor to the F-M Heritage Society. Member of Preservation North Dakota, State Historical Society of North Dakota, National Trust for Historic Preservation and Historic Scotland.

Since 1997, he has served Preservation North Dakota as Board Member, 1st Vice President and President. The Board of Directors has created the annual "Bentley Award" for volunteer of the year, in his honor. He is currently the Executive Director of the organization.


Jennifer Wilkie, Development Director - Wilkie holds a B.A. from Northern State University (Aberdeen, SD) where she double-majored in history and music and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in History at North Dakota State University. Prior to entering the graduate program, Wilkie was the Administrative Assistant for the Aberdeen Area Arts Council, a regional non-profit organization in South Dakota.

At NDSU, Wilkie served as a graduate teaching and research assistant in the history department and at the North Dakota Institute for Regional Studies and University Archives. She worked on the Dakota Memories Oral History project during the 2006 summer field session, videotaping interviews with North Dakotans of German-Russian descent. Wilkie has also worked for the Center for Heritage Renewal as a research assistant, a project which culminated in a public presentation for the Ladbury Lecture Series held at the historic Ladbury Church.

Wilkie currently resides in Fargo, ND. In her leisure time she enjoys reading and playing saxophone and classical guitar.
