Preservation North Dakota is a statewide, grassroots, nonprofit organization that provides resources for local preservationists. Incorporated in 1989, Preservation North Dakota has grown significantly because of the dedication of a core group of volunteers. Partnerships with the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the State Historical Society of North Dakota, along with grants from the Bush Foundation and the J. M. Kaplan Fund have allowed the organization to grow and focus its efforts on specific areas of preservation.
