Create A Local Affiliate
Becoming an affiliate of Preservation North Dakota is a great way to
establish an organization interested in historic preservation. Many
affiliates have taken on local restoration projects. It is also a valuable
tool for existing organizations to connect with others in the field of
historic preservation.
This system has been designed to give local preservation alliances a
larger voice on state and national preservation issues. Partners of PND
include:
State Historical Society of North Dakota
National Trust for Historic Places
PND does not charge for being a local affiliate. We do require reimbursement
of mileage and travel expenses if you request a site visit. Your board will
be expected to join PND as affiliate members. Filing papers with the Secretary
of the State's office in Bismarck carries standard fees determined by that
office.
Preservation North Dakota is not responsible for liabilities incurred by
local affiliates.
