Rural Vestige Alliance
The Rural Vestige Alliance is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, more specifically to facilitate historic properties in Manfred, ND.
Our goal is to analyze properties in need, work on obtaining them, and preserving them.
Projects during the summer of 2010 were to shingle the 1910 Manfred School building and to shingle the 1896 Soderback/Solheim House. These projects were accomplished with the help of a grant provided by Preservation North Dakota and another grant provided by the State Historical Society of North Dakota.
Our next goal is to work on the windows for the school and to paint the house.
